EDM NEWS, INTERVIEWS
[wp_ad_camp_2] You are a busy bee keeping up with your own record label Televisionary Records, releasing on other well known labels and last not but least Djing all across the nation. How do you keep up? I have much more practice pacing myself these days I've been performing since I was  8 and DJing out since I was 20 now I'm 31 so I've  worked on music skills but I've also learned the skills of pacing myself. You're known to have love for not just one style of dance music. If you could list three of your favorite genres of EDM, what would these be? Genres are like racial lines these days. So polarizing! I personally don't see them as separate anymore. I just see them as threads in the same blanket of Electronic.  Trance is very special to me for its longevity and caliber.  Bre

EDM NEWS, INTERVIEWS
[wp_ad_camp_2] Hi Artento, first off: thanks for joining Hammarica.com with this interview! Thanks for this interview, always a fun thing to do. You just released your new banger Elevation on Marco V's In Charge label. It has quite a gritty bassline combined with a catchy melody. How did this production come to life? Yes that is true. The production happened through a Skype conversation when I was waiting for my flight at the airport of Warsaw, Poland. Damian sent me a track with this melody, which I instantly loved. I was not too keen on the beats and build up, so we met on Skype and agreed on making new beats and a renewed drop and presto, Elevation was born. If you could give one production tip insight to new producers out there, what would that be? Just make the kin

[wp_ad_camp_2] Hi Chad- Hi Dave – Kate from Hammarica.com here. Kate: First I wanna thank you guys SOO much for taking time out of your busy touring schedule to do an interview with the site, and I. We really appreciate it!! Chad - Thanks for having us! Dave - We're glad to :) [wp_ad_camp_1] Kate: I would like to start this with a seemingly trending topic – the EDM music scene becoming so mainstream!! Artists like Britney Spears, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, and now even Justin Bieber seem to be leaning towards a more EDM influenced sound.  You can hear house/electronic music blaring from stores like Abercrombie & Fitch, Forever21, etc in the malls – and The Glitch Mob can be heard in the new Amazing SpiderMan trailer as well as DeadMau5 in The Hango

[wp_ad_camp_2] [wp_ad_camp_1] The past few years have been like a roller coaster ride for you and your rise in DJ land seems unstoppable. Five years ago, would you ever have thought you would be traveling the world playing for amazing crowds like you do now? Hi guys, thanks for having me. What's happened since I starting DJing and producing has definitely been a dream come true. I think it's safe to say that anyone with a passion for music dreams about being able to play to huge crowds of fans who love your tracks and know every word. I've been very fortunate that this has happened to me in a relatively short period of time. It's also been amazing to play alongside some of the DJs I've looked up to, like Armin, Ferry, Dash Berlin, etc. How did you establish your good relationship...

ALBUMS, EDM NEWS, INTERVIEWS
[wp_ad_camp_2] [wp_ad_camp_1] By Damen Smith-Draeko -- Writing for Hammarica.com has its benefits. One of them is the opportunity to communicate with astoundingly talented and inspired people who have demonstrated a consistent drive to follow through on their passion to achieve their dreams, no matter what the odds.  One such talented and inspired (inspiring) person, is the progressive and tech house maven, Darin Epsilon. Hello, Darin. To say that you are an impressive figure would be an understatement. I am not going to reinvent the wheel and write another outstanding bio about you. Your fans and our readers can read your bio here: http://www.beatport.com/artist/darin-epsilon/31025. I want to go between those lines a bit and ask some questions a bit more off the cuff. Plea

The New Law: A Great Argument For Hybrid Electric

EDM NEWS, INTERVIEWS
[wp_ad_camp_2] By Damen Smith-Draeko -- Almost a month ago, it was a rare, dry and warm Friday night here in Seattle. It was rare that it was both dry and warm, and it was rare that I’d ventured out into the world that night away from the drawing board. I found myself at the Lo-Fi Performance Gallery. Every third Friday of the month (or moonth if you want to go all Celtic and stuff) the music label Innerflight hosts a show at this venue. I decided to leave the house and partake of the dancing and debauchery. Actually there was much more of the former than the latter, and…well, I really don’t know how I feel about that. <whisper>I like debauchery.<./whisper> Going to the Lo-Fi Performance Gallery that night was actually a very good choice. Along with the pleasant

The Trance Grandmaster Speaks: Andy Moor Exclusive Interview

ALBUMS, EDM NEWS, INTERVIEWS
[wp_ad_camp_2] You have been an influential DJ in the international scene for years now. Starting in 2000 and still going strong in 2012 with the release of your new album. What made you decide one day to want to make it in the electronic music scene and has it been a rather smooth ride or were there any hurdles you had to take on? I was into electronic music from the first moment I heard a synth. As time passed by, I was fascinated by trying understand how these sounds were made. I was learning many instruments whilst young but decided early on that my main passion was in electronic music way before I had chance to learn all about it. It has a combination of so many attributes all in one genre, energy, groove, emotion, production, tension, release, etc. How do you look back on your...

Exclusive Interview With Jochen Miller

EDM NEWS, INTERVIEWS
[wp_ad_camp_2] Hi Jochen, first off:  thanks for joining Hammarica.com with this interview! Jochen, you have been DJing for quite a while and enjoying success with massive productions like ‘Lost Connection’, ‘Humanoid’, the Energy2011 anthem ‘Classified’ and recently the Rank-1 and Sarah Bettens collab Wild and Perfect Day. If you had to pick one of your productions as your most favorite one. Which one would that be? And is there a thought behind it for it to be your favorite? Tough question, same as asking a parent which of his children he loves most;-)) But if I had to pick only one, I guess that would be Lost Connection, because that track really rocketeered my carreer. You are known to blend styles together ranging from trance to electro and progressive. How do you like the f
