On its 2017 debut, ‘Blueprint’ marked a changeup in how an electronic artist album could be approached. It moved from a singles-driven model, toward a unified, long-form work, built around musical transitions and narrative flow. In doing so, it retuned expectations of what the modern electronic album could be. And now, nine cycles later, ‘Blueprint’ is ready to reenter the electronic music space … as ‘Blueprint Reprinted’. Alongside Ferry himself, the Dutch pioneer has handpicked five contemporaries and six ‘Blueprint’ tracks for the ’Reprinted’ cadre to revisit.
