Maratone shines as a rising Danish producer. He ignited a passion for electronic dance music at age 10. By 2014, he debuted with impactful remixes like Susana’s “Silent For So Long” and Jo Cartwright’s “Embrace You” on Raz Nitzan Music. These remixes gained attention – Susana’s was featured on “Press Play vol. 3,” and Jo Cartwright’s caught Armin van Buuren’s ear on A State Of Trance. “Vendetta“, featuring Ikerya Project, marks one of his most acclaimed releases, notably due to the impactful Sensualise mashup with Armin van Buuren’s “This Is What It Feels Like.” This mashup graced major 2017 festivals, boosting Maratone’s reputation. His 2016 triumph in Dennis Sheperd’s remix competition with “We Are” feat. Sylvia Tosun, co-produced with Dutch duo XiJaro & Pitch, forged lasting connections. Their teamwork birthed “The Hymn,” under Abora Recordings’ Digital Euphoria, expanding Maratone’s horizons. Supported by Abora Recordings since 2016, Maratone’s sound evolves, with diverse productions. An exclusive deal with Abora Recordings paved his path. Despite a brief career, endorsements from luminaries like Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Andrew Rayel, and more enhance his profile.
Sharon Valerona, hailing from the Netherlands, is a singer, songwriter, and producer. With the backing of esteemed global figures in the industry, she has gained recognition for her exceptional vocal trance creations, each bearing her unique imprint. Despite her recent entry into the industry, she stands tall as one of the most promising vocal talents of the present moment.
The meeting of Mads and Sharon this year was not a mere coincidence. An instant and profound connection was ignited between them. Soon after, they embarked on their first collaboration. Sharon took the lead, presenting the instrumental version accompanied by her angelic vocals. This foundation was then shaped into a profound, delicate, and heartfelt composition, enriched by Maratone with mesmerizing deep, hypnotic, and dreamy vibes. The name of this fresh release comes from a beautiful location in Denmark – Blåvand which translates to “Blue Waters” and has important meaning to Mads and his family.
