I love talking to the crowd. It’s great for hyping them up, but it also allows them to hear you talking to them in real life, so it makes you human and gives the show a much more personal feel.
We love your Together Again EP which features various styles. Where does your inspiration come from and the drive to get into various styles of music?
I really consider myself a music artist and not a genre specific artist. I mean, I make all kinds of electronic music on the one hand and really organic, jazz influenced hip-hop on the other. I love both so I’ve always been into finding ways to merge various genres and styles together. Trying to find new combinations that work well is a big motivation. But Instead of merging a ton of styles in a couple track
I really enjoy making songs with creepy vibes and heavy basslines.
Q: The people that are not familiar with you: Who is LUCIUZ?
A: 'LUCIUZ is a guy that lives In Norway that likes to make edm music. He likes to make ambient music but also likes to make sounds that are horror related. '
Q: How long have you been making music?
A: 'I have been making music since 2011 but didn't start my brand till the start of 2013 and that's because I used two years to get into producing. I'm going to admit that the tracks I produced when I first started was crap but I have progressed my sound through the years and I am happy that I used two years to produce because I feel it would be harder for me to start if I had no idea what I was doing.'
Q: Do you h

Borgore is a wildly popular artist, touring the world with his own brand of dubstep. While on tour with Steve Aki and Waka Flocka Flame, we were able to catch up with him backstage.
You're on this tour with Steve Aoki and Waka Flocka, how did you get picked up for it?
Well, Steve and Waka and I are all good friends, and we've been working on music together, and Steve wanted to go on a tour that would be interesting and eclectic, something that's not the average electro show that's to be expected, and I think the kids really like it.
Is there anything different you'll be doing yourself for this tour?
Yeah, I'll go on Waka's set and drum, and Waka comes on my set and raps, and sometimes I'll go on Steve's set and drum. Everybody gets involved wit...
Through one of our inside reporters who was able to infiltrate within the inner circle of SKRILLEX and OWSLA, we came aware of what no one had ever thought possible: Skrillex secretly shaved off all of his hair, buzz cut style. Not to mention that he got himself a pair of sweet contacts. Employees at his studio didn't recognize him the first day he came to the office sporting the new look. Worse: they thought he was the new intern and yelled at him for not delivering the donuts for their lunch break on time.
When all confusion settled down, Skrillex explained: "I've lived the life of a rockstar for the last few years. It's certainly been an awesome ride, but there comes a point where one has to reconcile. When girls start to look like you, and even st...

Where does the name Genghis Bomb come from?
It stems from us trying to illustrate the idea of epic beats on an imperial scale.
How long have you been part of the scene before the inception of Genghis Bomb?
Since the late 90's we've been playing as djs around New England and other parts of North America. We're old school rave djs turned producers.
Where did the choice for a medieval mask come from? It

HAMMARICA proudly started its new record label today with the release of the BEACHHEAD EP by BASSROCK. Bassrock is a highly talented EDM artist from Hammarica's home base of Seattle, WA USA. Four stunning tracks which are supported by industry leaders such as Joachim Garraud (David Guetta co-producer), Morgan Page, Lee Dagger and DJ Antoine among many others.
BASSROCK: "Riptide and Undertow are the reason for the name of the EP. I have no idea why, I'd been researching those two words and thought they'd be cool Ideas for tracks.

You headlined Moonfest this past weekend. Tell us a bit more about it.
Headlining "Moonfest" was a great event for me and it's an annual Halloween festival in west Palm Beach Florida with attendance in excess of 40 thousand. I was shooting for my upcoming release "Music United" on Millennium Recordings and it was a very intense set and night all together. With the Lasers, Fire Cannons, Co2 Blast, 40 feet of insane Video walls and Massive Bass in your face will be part of the PRiZM experience this year and I am really glad to be a part of the 21st Birthday and coming of age Moonfest event.
You have a background in breaks music and a lot of people love you for it, but your new found love is electro house. What pulled you into this new genre?
In the studio they are comprised of two souls, but on stage, dubstep prodigy GENGHIS BOMB is one individual wearing a full face mask completed with a medieval style helmet to conceal his true identity. It's never fully known who will be on stage.. Yet, one thing is for sure: the music is set to make fans go ballistic.
The first Genghis Bomb live show happened at the Ill Magic stage of WEMF, Ontario 2010. The tone was set and numerous tracks were successfully distributed through platforms like The Pirate Bay. As a result of that, Genghis Bomb' online white labels have reached over 500,000 downloads. An impressive feat. for independent artists.
After producing and performing for several years, fans kept asking for an album. Genghis Bomb then decided to live up to the ...
How was Judgement Fridays this year?
Firstly, a brand new venue, refurbed from top to bottom to the level of being unrecognisable, including a sound system so awesome it literally blows your mind. And a brand new concept, recognising the fact that a large volume of Ibiza clubbers now come for long weekend breaks, making Friday a very significant day. And, of course, or well-honed ability to throw a top party.
What is a deciding factor for picking the line ups for the parties?
A combination of established names and the willingness to take chances with the Djs whose productions have excited me most over the past 12 months. Year after year we have spotted Djs before they have come to prominence, which has generated a degree of loyalty enjoyed by fe...
