Wolfgang Gartner Hammarica PRElectronic music producer and DJ WOLFGANG GARTNER has been pleasing fans all summer long, putting out release after release of pure electro-house gold. The famed producer is back again with the two-track EP CASUAL ENCOUNTERS OF THE 3RD KIND, out now via Ultra Music and featuring the uplifting house jam “Girl on Girl” and its heavier counterpart “Girl on Boy,” currently sitting at #16 on the Beatport Top 100 chart. CASUAL ENCOUNTERS OF THE 3RD KIND is available now on Beatport and iTunes.

In support of CASUAL ENCOUNTERS OF THE 3RD KIND, WOLFGANG GARTNER is launching the Love & War Tour, a massive fall U.S. tour with over 30 dates in five weeks. DJ/producers Pierce Fulton and Popeska will support WOLFGANG GARTNER throughout the tour.

“This will be my second five-week, nonstop bus tour of North America,” says WOLFGANG. “A lot has changed in my performance and the overall landscape of dance music in America since the last tour in March of 2011–in a very good way. The production/visual effects team and crew I’ll have with me will be breaking new ground as well as bringing my music to new markets that have never had a chance to experience it live before. I really think this tour will be five of the most memorable weeks of my life.”

Prior to launching the Love & War Tour, WOLFGANG GARTNER will unleash BACK STORY, a retrospective catalog release out September 4 via Ultra Music and featuring some of his biggest tracks to date, including “Wolfgang’s 5th Symphony,” “Montezuma,” “Undertaker” and more. “This is a collection of some of my older works, and a story of how I got to where I am today musically,” says WOLFGANG. “Everything here was produced between 2008 and 2010 and released independently on my label Kindergarten, and represents a creative coming-of-age. I still play many of these tracks in my sets as they’ve stood the test of time and still move audiences today.”

About WOLFGANG GARTNER:

”I have to make something that’s never been made before; have to make the best thing that I’ve ever done in my life – otherwise it gets stagnant or worse,” says producer/DJ WOLFGANG GARTNER. Whether or not his progressively more maximilist take on electro-house is your bag or not, you have to respect his exponentially steep rise through the electro-house ranks. And Lord knows, you’ve heard it—or about it: flipping Beethoven’s 5th for the 4 a.m. crowd; eight #1 tracks on Beatport; remix/collabs with Britney Spears, Timbaland and Black Eyed Peas; festival-highlight performances at Coachella 2012 and Electric Daisy Carnivals 2010 and 2011 and a Grammy nomination under his belt. Where Joey Youngman, the one-time party kid from San Luis Obispo, CA and another-time househead old soul, has been electro-house’s dark (work) horse, Weekend in America, his debut full-length for Ultra Music, is WOLFGANG GARTNER becoming dance music’s one-man parallel universe, outpacing electro-house and outdoing himself. GARTNER continues to outdo himself with his most recent release and will build his impressive repertoire with constant remixes and original productions throughout 2012.
